Department/Division purpose:

The Pueblo Community College Southwest Campus exists to service provide educational programs and services to the citizens of Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, Montezuma, and San Juan counties in the southwest corner of Colorado with high quality education. This includes a site in Durango at the Durango High School. Students can enroll in
transfer degree options or career and technical pathways to prepare for transfer to four-year colleges or a career in business and industry.

Job Summary Statement  

This position specifically exists for the following: to ensure that there is fiscal alignment at the Southwest Campus and Durango Site with PCC policies; to provide supervision for the learning and testing center; and to provide administrative support to automotive and welding instructors.

 

Job Duties

Non-Essential Functions: Performs other duties as assigned, including providing support to Durango Site when needed. (5%)





 

 

Minimum Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, Administration or related field.

Experience

  • Documented experience performing administrative duties, including coordination responsibilities.
  • Verifiable experience providing budget tracking and reporting.
  • Experience with student academic and assessment programs.
  • Verifiable experience in Event Coordination.
  • Experience in a position that required managing multiple tasks and shifting deadlines effectively.
  • Experience managing conflict.
  • Experience in a position that included supervision of others.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Special knowledge, skills, abilities
Verifiable ability in project and office Management
Verifiable customer Service and community relations skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of Banner system.
Knowledge of Colorado fiscal and procurement systems.
Demonstrated skill managing time and determining priorities in a complex and fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of student and academic services.
