Primary Function
This position serves as a front desk telephone, customer service, registration and payment contact for the continuing education and workforce development division and Fulton-Owen Hall, processes non-credit registrations, receives payments and provides receipts.
Essential Duties
- The following list is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills or working conditions associated with this position.
- Processes non-credit registrations and payments, including entering summer scholars, open enrollment and contract training registrations, processing incoming revenue, performing cashier responsibilities and initiating refunds; researches and answers student inquiries and assists with opening and closing front office
- Performs and oversees filing, retrieving and archiving of registration forms, rosters, new course folders, refunds, cancelled courses and other course materials
- Serves as front desk telephone and customer service contact for the continuing education and workforce development division and Fulton-Owen Hall
- Prepares and issues documents of completion
- Performs other duties as assigned
Typical Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Two years of office experience
- Computer, organizational and human relations skills
- Valid driver's license
- Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
- A bachelor's degree in a business related field
- Microsoft Office experience
Supplemental Information
This is a part-time standard support staff position. The days and hours of work are Mon. - Thurs. 8:00am - 1:00pm
