Primary Function

This position serves as a front desk telephone, customer service, registration and payment contact for the continuing education and workforce development division and Fulton-Owen Hall, processes non-credit registrations, receives payments and provides receipts.

Essential Duties

The following list is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills or working conditions associated with this position.
  • Processes non-credit registrations and payments, including entering summer scholars, open enrollment and contract training registrations, processing incoming revenue, performing cashier responsibilities and initiating refunds; researches and answers student inquiries and assists with opening and closing front office
  • Performs and oversees filing, retrieving and archiving of registration forms, rosters, new course folders, refunds, cancelled courses and other course materials
  • Serves as front desk telephone and customer service contact for the continuing education and workforce development division and Fulton-Owen Hall
  • Prepares and issues documents of completion
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Typical Qualifications

  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Two years of office experience
  • Computer, organizational and human relations skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
    • A bachelor's degree in a business related field
    • Microsoft Office experience

Supplemental Information

This is a part-time standard support staff position. The days and hours of work are Mon. - Thurs. 8:00am - 1:00pm
